We are All-VolunteerHelpFightAIDS Through Books and Music is an all-volunteer project.
The project was initiated in 1993 by AIDS Council volunteer, Steve Kozlowski who continues to serve as coordinator. A corps of dedicated volunteers keep it going. New members are always needed Last year, over 100 volunteers donated over 3,000 hours of their time! Here's how volunteers help:Preparing and staffing community book/music sales.Maintaining store locations at the Treasure Chest Thrift Store in Albany and Glenwood Manor Antique Center in Queensbury.Running an on-line E-Bay book shop. Selling Entertainment Books to personal networks or serving as a liaison to sponsoring stores.Promoting our events by distributing fliers and through other efforts.Helping to obtain needed donations of books, music and movies.
